I'd like to make a scrapbook for one of my best friends, Becky, who is having her first child in November. She was over recently and looked through a couple of my albums and fell in love, mentioning how she wished she had the time/skill to do one for her baby. I thought it would be a nice gift.
I'm thinking of doing a book with a spread for each month. I would leave 4x6 mats open for her to insert the photos later, obviously. And also some journaling area for her to write in.
I was wondering if anyone else has done something like this, for a new baby. Did you do a monthly thing? The December pages would be Xmas theme, October Halloween, etc. I don't have experience with making pages without photos; I tend to build my pages around my photos. So this will be a new experience!

So I've been toying around with and posting fragments of this story for a long time. Now I've finally, for real, sat down and started writing it. This is just the prologue, but I'm so proud of myself for actually making a real attempt. I think I've been avoiding it for fear of failing at it, and I actually didn't do half-bad on this.
It could use a little work, definitely, so criticism is highly appreciated.

Hey all! I've a major problem here! I'm writing a fun little piece (fiction). But one of the people's p.o.v. is coming from a blind person...er...how on earth does one describe things from a blind person's point of view?! All I have right now is dialog...so if you've got some suggestions, please help! What I've got is okay...but I really wanted to work on surroundings and descriptions...but then I realized I don't really know how to describe it...oy.

With three different worlds, each with over 40 individual powers, you can create your own Superhero, Witch/Warlock, Cybernetic Warrior, Force Knight or Alien. All these universes are connected in a fourth area named ‘The Third Rock Conference’, where your character can interact with characters from the other universes.
